Through Alexandria Children's Theatre, Nikki teaches engaging, creative classes in Acting and Musical Theatre to students aged 6-12 via:

• Alexandria City Public Schools (Linking Instruction/Nurturing Knowledge program)

  • Introductory after school drama class focused on physical exploration, imagination, and development of basic performing skills.

• KIPP DC Schools (summer program)

  • Taught 2 week-long camps designed to engage students, focus on fun, and culminate in a short performance that blended acting, dance, and music.

• Burgundy Farm Country Day School

  • Teaching "Crafting Characters," a drama/art fusion class in which students create a character based off of an original work of art.

• Virtual classes (on Zoom)

  • Designed and developed original curriculum for innovative online classes.

  • Classes included "Write a Radio Play," "Triple Threat Experience," and "Musical Time Travel." Provided instruction in areas such as voice acting, improvisation, musical theatre history, basic dance, and ensemble building.
